Ich möchte heute die Bands bekanntgeben die am Freitag den 20 März an den Start gehen für den 1. Bandcontest im Zentis:

1. Peach (aus dem Raum Meran, Passeier, Vinschgau)

Es ist ein warmer mix aus Akkustic Gitarrensound, starkem Bass und Schlagzeugbeats! Mit einer süßen, krafvollen und lady-like Stimme erfüllt es freundliche gefühle in dir. Unsere musik ist eine richtung zwichen Colbie Callait, Kate Voegele, Tenacious D, Silbermond und Alanis Morisette.

2. Slowtorch

SLOWTORCH formed in early 2004 as a five piece called Godmachine.
Bruno Bassi, Peter Tomasi - the founding members, Sebastian Goralik, Thiemo Micheler and Felix Bissardella, recorded their first demo Generator in May 2004.

Godmachine were immediately well received, also because of their resolve to rely exclusively on their own material. Despite this being an unusual approach for emerging bands looking for live appearances, their decision paid off, as they were asked to play a number of gigs throughout 2004. The highlight of Godmachine's musical career comes right away, when they open the stage for Ill Niño at a local festival.

2005 sees the band's vocalist and producer of Generator, Sebastian Goralik, and bass guitarist Thiemo Micheler leave the band for personal and musical differences, and Godmachine's live activity comes to a temporary halt.

After a number of sessions, former rhythm guitarist Peter Tomasi takes the post, leaving Bruno to handle the guitar work. In April 2005, Godmachine are finally back and hit the live scene with their new line-up

In September 2005, Godmachine become SLOWTORCH and enter the studio once again to record their song (Go Down In) Style for Get Stoned, Vol. I, a sampler released by the now defunct local label Morgana Records. The recording marks the band's new and evolved sound, bringing Generator's straight metal sound towards a groovier, more innovative style.

In 2006, SLOWTORCH release their promo CD, Scrap Metal & Oil Stains, which quickly sells out in another year of relentless touring throughout Europe. Also, there are several requests from radio stations in the US and Germany to play the band’s material.

On Friday, July 13th 2007, SLOWTORCH released their first full length album, Adding Fuel To Fire, available in stores, from the band and from various web stores, an occasion duly celebrated with a Release Party in front of a packed house. The album was well received and got excellent reviews in national and international print and web media. Currently, radio stations in Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Canada and the US are playing material from both the album and earlier releases.

In November and December '07, SLOWTORCH embarked on a tour through Germany and Italy. In April and May 2008 they took part in Italy’s Metal Battle and finished 3rd against 89 competing acts.

In July 2008, US-based label 272 records included SLOWTORCH on their KILL CITY 10 compilation.

Also in July 2008, the band recorded new material for their upcoming EP. The songs are currently being mixed and mastered and will be ready for release in late 2008

3. Living Targets (Montan)

Es begann alles im August 2007. Die Montaner Hannes Pfitscher und Marius Walter haben ihre damalige Band aufgelöst. Doch schon wenig später bekamen sie wieder Lust ihre Instrumente aus den Koffern zu holen um eine neue Band zu gründen. Als sich eines feucht -fröhlichen Abends auch Hobbygitarrist Christian Hilber anbot bei der neuen Band mitzumachen, fehlte ihnen nur noch ein Schlagzeuger. Dieser, Maximilian Maffei, wurde jenseits der Etsch rekrutiert und nach Montan importiert. Die Gruppe war somit vollständig und man konnte sich auf den Namen "The Living Targets" einigen. Nun konnte es endlich losgehen. Man coverte sich durch Rockklassiker und begann auch gleich eigene Songs zu schreiben. Erste Auftritte ließen nicht lang auf sich warten. Nach einer aufregenden und auch nicht unerfolgreichen Anfangszeit gab es einige Änderungen im Line-up. Drummer Maxi stieg aus, seinen Posten übernahm Bassist Hannes und dessen Posten wiederum übernahm der Gitarrist Chichi. Bald wurde klar dass alles super funktioniert und so werden die Living Targets nun als Trio die Bühnen rocken
